Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Review the medication chart or prescription for the appropriateness of the drugs prescribed
- Contact the prescribing doctor when an intervention is needed
- Fulfill all drug orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Dispense medications to patients (explaining the indications for drug therapy and instructions for administration)
- Delegate, oversee and review the work of assigned subordinates
- Records pertaining to all phases of drug receipt, supply, storage and distribution are maintained as required by the hospital and / or legal authorities
Requirements
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited University recognised by the Singapore Pharmacy Council
- Possess a professional license registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council
